Body-oriented therapy

For adults and adolescents

"The body does remember."

Body-oriented therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on connecting body and mind and exploring how emotions and psychological problems manifest in the body.

Body-oriented therapy can take different forms, including somatic experiential therapy, bioenergetics and breathing techniques. The therapist can work with the client to explore physical sensations and understand how these are related to their emotions and psychological problems. By focusing on the body, the therapist can help reduce tension and stress, increase body awareness and improve emotional well-being.

Body-oriented therapy can help with various problems, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain and addiction. The aim of therapy is to help clients become aware of their body sensations and use them as a tool to understand and regulate emotions and to gain a better understanding of their emotions and thoughts.
